So, the #weird thing about kids

I am always blown away that they come into the world utterly dependent on you for everything. And that your job as a parent is to not make them able to not need you.

That does not make the transitions any more or less easy on anyone involved.

Still I know that it's a good thing for all involved. Admitted if it's kicking and screaming one way or the other.
